I feel this trip truly helps preserve history quite well due to allowing the car to be shown where it made history many years later on its birthday. The entire event was incredible and I hope the next caretaker(s) of the ’60 Cunningham Corvette will take it back for its 100th Anniversary. This trip ended up being much more than his dream come true it fulfilled my dreams as well – I drove around the Le Mans 24-hour circuit with John Fitch – pinch me! I feel fulfilled and know my father is proud of the outcome. This trip, as you can imagine, was incredibly emotional due to my father being with us only in spirit verses being there in person due to the nasty disease, Amyloidosis, taking his life in 2004. I fulfilled a dream my father had by taking his beloved ’60 Cunningham Corvette #3 back to Le Mans for its 50th Anniversary along with the original driver, Mr. ’ LANCE S CORNER A FEW WORDS FROM LANCE MILLER I’m writing this as I sit in the Paris airport because I feel it’s important to tell you briefly about my adventures. The Chip’s Choice Display in Building T will host some awesome machines that are a tribute to our country. I urge you to take a stroll and check out some of the incredible Corvettes parked throughout our facility.
